As someone who has a collection of more than three-thousand films, Michael Fischer has always loved watching movies. These days, the Rockdale native is now himself on screen, acting in films and working on the other side of the camera as well.

At Monday night’s Rockdale Municipal Development District’s board meeting it was revealed that everything is in place to offer for sale the industrial property located on at 900 FM 486. A new survey has been done and the minimum asking price for the property will be $1.5 million. The bid is up on the city’s website and the closing date for bids is June 27 at 2 p.m.
The Milam County Historical Commission will conduct its meeting on Monday, at 10 a.m. at the historic Kay Theatre in Rockdale.
