The Rockdale PTO is recommending the following times for Trick-or-Treating in Rockdale: Sunday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Vaccine clinics for Milam residents

The following clinics will be available this week for Milam County residents wanting to get their COVID-19 vaccines: • Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the Milam County Health Department in Cameron from 2 to 7 p.m. Pfizer for ages 12 and up, Moderna 18 and up.

2021 Rockdale Fair & Rodeo a huge success

The Rockdale Fair Association has done it again. The 2021 Fair & Rodeo was hugely successful and the association and volunteers deserve high praise, indeed. Even the weather cooperated with beautiful autumn temperatures and there was no rain in sight.

The Rockdale Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center received a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark Designation from the Texas Historical Commission for their office at the historic Coffield House. Built in the early 1930s by Rockdale businessman H.H.

MARCHING CONTEST

MARCHING CONTEST—On Oct. 16 the RHS Big Blue Band participated in the UIL Region Marching Contest at the Giddings HS Stadium. The band was awarded a Division 2 (Excellent) rating from the judges.

Rockdale iTigers has new name: The ACE Tigers

After 16 years, the last five-year grant of the Rockdale iTigers Afterschool program has concluded. However, Rockdale ISD has been awarded a new 5-year grant which is named ACE Tigers (Afterschool Centers on Education).
