The Rockdale Chamber of Commerce is holding a farmers’ market on the grounds of the of the historic Coffield Stone Tree House at 1203 W Cameron. The market is held each Saturday from now until the end of October.
The hours are 8 a.m. to noon.

Rockdale ISD trustees named Kathy Pelzel as Director of Elementary Intervention at the June 10 board meeting.
Pelzel earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and math from Sam Houston State University and a master’s degree in administration from Lamar University.

Milam County 4-H standout is heading for Texas A&M
The Milam County extension office is highlighting the county 4-H seniors who graduating in 2021. We are proud of these youth as they have worked very hard, for most of them, over 10 years in 4-H.
Texas 4-H Roundup was held June 8-10 in College Station to allow 4-H members to compete at state level competition. The following teams were recognized.
