Heavenly Treasures sidewalk sales continue Heavenly Treasures continues to hold sidewalk sales through October on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Tuesdays will be Christmas and Halloween themed and Wednesdays will be for clothing. Donations may be placed on the back porch any time.

GAUSE NEWS

Sports activities for the Gause school are in full swing with volleyball and football games every week. Progress reports will be released on Oct. 21. That will tell a lot to who will be playing any sports. Like who will be playing football on Oct. 29. That game will be against Allen Academy at 5 p.

He’s talking about Thanksgiving again

There’s a cooking forum I like to read and I occasionally participate. It’s just folks who like to cook and share recipes and food photos. Someone shared a recipe for cranberry sauce that I have wanted to try but never have, but it’s so unusual I want to share it with you.

Rockdale removes parking requirement from deal with Perrys over old City Hall

The Rockdale City Council opted to remove the restriction of making a parking out of the lot behind the old City Hall in a vote at a meeting Monday night in City Hall.
