COVID-19 in Milam County Three new cases reported

County Judge Steve Young said there are three new cases of COVID-19 and one discharged PCR case and one discharged probable case. No one was admitted to a hospital over the past week. THE NUMBERS—Here are the numbers for cases that are here measured Wednesday to Wednesday.

One road project begins, another starts on Nov. 2

Texas Department of Transportation work on one US 79 project started Monday and another one will begin Nov. 2. The project that began Monday will overlay existing pavement on US 79, from 2 miles west of FM 1786 to 2.4 miles west of FM 487.

Renaissance Estates moves into new facility

Renaissance Estates & Rehabilitation has made the big move and couldn’t be more excited about it. “It feels amazing,” said Laura Kunka, who is an owner along with Michael Bumpass, of the new facility on US 79.
