Milam County has recorded its second death in two weeks—the seventh overall—attributed to the COVID-19 virus.

Health-care station opens in Cameron Thursday

• Raymond Jochec, 69, Cameron, pleaded guilty to indecency with child-exposes on July 23. After a pre-sentence investigation and a sentencing hearing, he was placed on five years deferred adjudication, ordered to pay a $2,000 fine and $3,180 restitution to child’s parents.
