A couple of weeks ago I was craving chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I still haven’t had any yet, but as luck would have it I asked and I received. And not one recipe but two. Sending out a big thank you to Joy Caffey and Charlotte Christian who both sent me their favorites.

39TH CASE IN MILAM

  From County Judge Steve Young during the noon hour Wednesday:  We were just informed of a 39th case in the county.  This is a younger person from the south central part of the county who works in the county.  The person is self quarantined at home. 

38th CASE REPORTED TUESDAY

  Milam County Judge Steve Young said a 38th case of COVID-19 in Milam County was reported Tuesday morning.   He said the case was "another from the central part of the county" and is "undoubtably community spread."   Young said the person is self-quarantined at home.

VIRUS COUNT GOES TO 37

 Milam County Judge Steve Young said a 37th case of COVID-19 has been reported.  Young said he was advised of the case Monday evening.   He said the person is self-quarantining at home.   There are still no Milam COVID-19 patients in the hospital.

MILAM REACHES THREE DOZEN

   Milam County Judge Steve Young said early Monday afternoon the county has logged its 36th positive COVID-19 test.    Young said the person is "centrally located in the county and is self-quarantined at home.

COVID-19 CASE COUNT GOES TO 35

  Three more cases of COVID-19 have been added to Milam County's total.   County Judge Steve Young said Friday morning three new cases have been reported.   Young said one case was in the family of a person who previously tested positive.

CTFB visit set for Thursday at KC Hall

The first Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB) Mobile Food Pantry distribution of June in the KC Hall parking lot will be held on Thursday, according to Rockdale Christian Services Chair Pam Warren. Distributions are held the first and third Thursdays, June 4 and 18. Hours are 9 to 11 a.m.
