Summer movie series

Rockdale Chamber of Commerce, the Kay Theater and Rockdale Rotary Club have teamed up for a summer movies series to be presented at Wolf Park on the third Saturday of the month in May, June and July beginning at 8 p.m. The movies are Shrek on May 17, The Goonies on June 21 and Toy Story on July 19.

ORGANIZATIONS

The American Legion Post 358meets the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Legion Hall. New members are welcome. For more information call Rod at 512-4293458. Milam County Ham Radio Club meeting Milam County Radio Club meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.

Milano has been blessed to receive much needed rain but we are still behind where we were this time last year. I got caught out in the rain last Friday with my grandson. He thought it was great. I, on the other hand, did not like being soaked and cold.
