Cole book signing March 29

Rockdale native Susan Wallis Cole will hold a book signing and reading from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 29 at Main Street Bookshop. The children’s book is called Ella and Mac Want A Dog which is about Cole’s reallife daughters, Ella and Mackinley Cole, who are determined to get a dog.

Lions Club golf tournament set for Saturday

Rockdale Noon Lion’s Club will hold its 34th annual Scholarship Scramble Golf Tournament on Saturday at the Rockdale County Club starting at 8:30 a.m. Entries are limited to the first 72 players.

READING TO STUDENTS

Members of St. John’s United Methodist Church and Alpha One Chevrolet met at Rock dale Elementary School on Monday, March 3, to read to the students. They also presented checks to the school in the amounts of $250 from St. John’s and $300 from Alpha One.

Lunch and learn at Patterson Center Thursday

Rockdale Chamber of Commerce will hold a lunch and learn titled “Scaling Your Business in a Rural Landscape” at the Patterson Center on Thursday, March 27, from 12-noon to 1 p.m.
