COPPELL—Ryan (Ben) Alton Green, 31, died Friday July 24, 2020, in a car accident.

A funeral ser v ice was held Monday, Aug. 3, a t R o l l i n g Oaks Funeral Home in Coppell. Interment was at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center in Coppell.

Mr. Green was born April 10, 1989, in Irving.

He was well known in the Valley Ranch neighborhood, where he grew up and went to school. During his school years, he was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, on the Ranchview High School football team, and he played the viola in the orchestra. He also played on a select soccer team in the City of Irving Soccer League.

Mr. Green interviewed and got his first job at age 16. It was a summer paid internship as an artist for the City of Irving, where he worked with other teens and an artist from New York to create a large mosaic that is on the entry wall of the Irving Health and Human Services building. There is a plaque with his name listed.

He adorned many places with his art work—at a daycare in Carrollton, almost every wall has murals he painted, as well as storefront windows in Carrollton and Addison. In high school, he designed the orchestra t-shirt.

Mr. Green could do anything he wanted to do whether it was painting a mural or taking a computer completely apart and putting it back together. He could make music and wire an entire hospital. His smile was contagious. He was goofy but definitely serious. If he had something on his mind, he would stick with it.

Both of his girls, Aaliyah Recheé Green, 9, and Pearlie Adriana Lizette (Princess P) Green, 7, are the spitting image of him and that can’t be said enough. His three boys, Jaiden Joel Mason Green, 12, Jordan Jeovanie Ki’Lynn (Baby) Green, 10, and Ryan Altonio Ja’Colby (Niko/Little Ryan) Green, 8, have his big dimples and crazy smile.

Mr. Green is also survived by his mother, Mary Melissa Mack Murray; grandmother, Pearlie Mack; older brother, Christopher Green; younger sisters, Markail Mack and Kimberly Mack; nephews, Major Johnson and Kylen Johnson; and niece, Olivia Carter.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Obbie Mack.
