AUSTIN—Irene Ruth Kroll Diver of Austin died April 10, 2018, at 4:55 p.m. at the age 98. She was born in Thrall on March 17, 1920. On Dec. 23, 1940, she married Wesley E. Diver in Rockdale. She lived in Austin and on Lake Travis. Later she lived in Cedar Park and returned to Austin in 2015.

Billy G. Gest, age 85, of Rockdale passed away Tuesday evening, April 10, 2018, in the Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock. Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Pastor Gary Veit of Peach Lutheran Church will officiate.
