THORNDALE—Jacob Darren Biar was born on July 22, 1997, and went to his heavenly home on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Zieschang.

Frank Norman David, 76, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at his home with his wife and family by his side. Mass was held Friday, July 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale, with Father Pedro Castillo, Deacon Gus Coelho and Deacon Don Sims officiating.

Wanda Walthall Galbreath, 84, of Round Rock, formerly of Rockdale, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at San Gabriel Rehabilitation & Care Center in Round Rock.

Janak

Charlie Janak, 87, of Rockdale died Saturday, July 21, 2018. Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, July 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale with Father Pedro Castillo and Father Gary Janak officiating.

Cone

Conway Cone, 92, of Minerva died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Little River Hospital in Rockdale. Funeral services were held Monday, July 16, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Luther Shelander of Mt. Zion Baptist Church officiating. Burial was at Minerva Cemetery.

Dodds

Douglas Neil Dodds was cremated on Thursday, June 28, 2018, following his death on Sunday, June 24. Survivors are his wife, Jody Dodds, and his mother and father, Phyllis and William Dodds.

Grimm

Services for Billy “Bill” Wayne Grimm, 67, of Thorn-dale were held Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale with Rev. Aaron Kalbas officiating. Burial followed at St. Paul Cemetery in Thorndale. Mr. Grimm died peacefully on Saturday, July 14, in Rock-dale.

Perkins

Don Perkins, 94, of Rock-dale died Sunday, July 15, 2018, at his home in Rock-dale. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 18, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Steve Walker officiating. Burial was at Sandy Creek Cemetery near Milano.

Summers

DENTON—A memorial service for Richard Burton “Dickie” Summers, 72, is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University Dr. It will be followed by a fellowship from 2 to 4 p.m. Mr. Summers was a Rock-dale native and a 1964 graduate of Rockdale High School.

Parmjit “Pami” Singh Dhaliwal, 60, of Rockdale died Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Harjinder Singh officiating. There will be no visitation.
