Spitzenberger

GIDDINGS—Eugene Henry “Spitz” Spitzenberger, 90, of Giddings died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, while having dinner with his daughter and a friend. To celebrate his life, a visitation and prayer service was held on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.

Wenzel

Leon Frank Wenzel made his transition into eternal life on Feb. 18, 2018, after losing a short battle with leukemia. Leon was born in Rock-dale on Feb. 23, 1944, to Paul and Bessie Wenzel. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale his entire life.

Baggerly

May Ann Baggerly, 86, of Rockdale died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018. A memorial service will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 at 409 Walnut St. in Rockdale. Her body will be cremated. Mrs. Baggerly was born Jan. 11, 1932, in Nueces County to Dolphus Beathard and Ruby Donaldson Beathard.

Galvan

Delia Carrillo Galvan, 75, of Rockdale died peacefully surrounded by her family Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, in Round Rock after a sudden illness.

Gavit

Cameron—Barbara Marie Gavit, 49, of Houston died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, in a Houston hospital. Graveside services were held Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Moffat Cemetery in Bell County. Ms. Gavit was born Oct. 24, 1968, in Austin to Harvey and Lorene (Merkel) Gavit. She worked in the food service business.

Graham

Cynthia McNiel Graham, 57, of Rockdale, previously of Milano, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, after a lengthy illness. Memorial services were held Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Rockdale Christian Fellowship Church. A reception immediately followed in the fellowship hall.

Kostroun

CAMERON—Jerry Louis Kostroun Jr., 76, of Cameron died peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, in a Waco hospital. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, at Sts.

Laughlin

Glennie Lee Laughlin, 94, of Thorndale died Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, in Austin after a short illness. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Lawrence Chapel Cemetery, with Rev. Jeff Stull officiating.

Brown

Tim Brown, 59, of Lexington died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Hugh Wilson Cemetery in Tanglewood. Visitation is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Lexington.

Knox

Kenneth Ray Knox, 75, of Rockdale died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at his home after a long battle with cancer. Per his wishes there will be no funeral or burial services. He donated his body to Texas A&M Medical Science Department.
