Cynthia McNiel Graham, 57, of Rockdale, previously of Milano, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, after a lengthy illness.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Rockdale Christian Fellowship Church. A reception immediately followed in the fellowship hall.
Mrs. Graham was born March 14, 1960, in Wichita Falls to Cleber McNiel of Milano and Marcella Noak of Rockdale.
She married her life’s love, Gillis.
Growing up and living most of her life in Sand Grove, Mrs. Graham had a passion for the outdoors, animals and nature. She enjoyed planting her bountiful gardens, walking in the woods, hunting with her husband, the peace and challenge of catching fish, and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gillis Graham of Milano; her father, Cleber McNiel of Milano; her grandparents, Alvin D. and Lillie Mae McNiel of Milano, James and Frances Reid of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Paul McNiel of Milano, Larry McNiel of California; and a sister, Diana Keen of Milano.
Survivors are her mother, Marcella Noak of Rockdale; two daughters, Denice Jones of Bastrop, Laura Cate of Rockdale; seven grandchildren, Desiree, Alyssa and Gillian Rich, Joseph New, Scott and Eyan Cate, and Jordan Sanders; two sisters, Marcella Hubnik of Cameron, Elaine Lyon of Fredericksburg, Virginia; three brothers, Chris Lyon and wife Kristyn of Spring, Berry and Garry Lyon of Wichita Falls; an aunt, Yvonne McNiel of Boerne; five sister cousins, Princess Cook, LaDawn Shryer, Francine O’Brien, Tami Terry and Danielle Howard; and two brother cousins, Greg McNiel and Tommy Coldiron; also, many other family and friends.
