Monica Michelle Jones was born on Oct. 31, 1982, to Emmett and Gloria Aguirre, the second youngest of their five children. She graduated from Milano High School in 2001 and later received a degree in history from Texas A&M University.

Adele Roseline Doss Menn Lumpkins, 99, peacefully departed this life on Feb. 1, 2024. On Feb. 23, 1924, she became the firstborn child of Bailey Antonio and Sabina Pelzel Doss at their home in Milam County. She was baptized and then later confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
