Afew weeks ago, I wrote about the growth that we are already seeing and the new growth that we see applying for permits on almost a daily basis right now. Some are small, maybe 10 or 15 tracts, but some are much larger in the 50 to 100 home site range.

The summer months will once again put our power grid under enormous stress, with record demand expected as the 100-degree days approach. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) is already predicting a 16% chance of a grid emergency in August. Texas produces as much energy as it consumes.
