Some interesting facts about the sixth month of the year Juno is the ancient Roman goddess of marriage and childbirth. And the month of June is still a popular month for weddings today. As a natural extension of marriage, Juno was also the goddess of childbirth.

100 YEARS AGO Baccalaureate services held in honor of the graduating class of 1924, Rockdale High School, were largely attended Sunday night at First Baptist Church of Rockdale. Dr. J.L. Massey, pastor of First Methodist Church had charge of the ceremonies.
