Nachos are a meal Mom makes at home fairly often. Dad likes very hot food so he can put as many jalapenos on his portion as he likes. Before trying these at a restaurant once I would have thought that crab nachos would be a waste of good crab meat, but I was wrong. They were delicious.

School board hears enrollment reports from principals

Assistant Superintendent of State and Federal Programs Tiffany Whitsel presented a review of the ESSER III Safe Return to School Plan Update at Monday night’s school board meeting. Coaches Sean Lexima and Danielle Froggatt presented the athletic review to the board.

Groundwater experts came to the Caldwell Civic Center on Aug. 17 to speak at the ninth annual Milam and Burleson Counties Groundwater Summit. About 300 people attended the summit this year.
