On Dec. 8, at approximately 2:20 a.m., Milam County Deputy Keith Beasley attempted a routine traffic stop, south of Thorndale near Griffith Lane. Immediately, Deputy Beasley’s patrol vehicle was fired upon from inside the violator’s vehicle.
