Temple College will offer emergency aid grants of up to $1,500 for students who enroll in classes for the fall.
The college will give $1,400 emergency aid grants to students holding a high school diploma or GED who enroll in 12 or more hours of classes.
The 20th Annual MARC RIDE given by The Bad To The Bone Riders of Rockdale will be June 12 at The Ranch at 415 W. US 79 in Rockdale. The ride benefits the Milam Adult Resource Center of Milam County in Rockdale. MARC serves Milam County adult residents with physical and learning disabilities.

A 38 year-old Rockdale man was arrested Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. by officer Jeremiah Harden on a local warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a capias pro fine for theft (less than $100) and resisting, search or transport.
