No noon Holy Week services

The traditional noon luncheon Holy Week services have been canceled for 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rev. John Seaton, pastor of St. John’s United Methodist Church and president of Rockdale Ministerial Alliance, which sponsors the events, said the RMA has decided to cancel the services.

City okays some help for water bill payers

The Rockdale City Council, expressing a desire to assist water customers with paying their bill during the COVID-19 crisis, did just that during a called meeting Monday afternoon.
