—Lowe’s of Hutto employees. working through its “Lowe’s Heroes” volunteer program, presented a new refrigerator and microwave to Rockdale’s MARC Center, along with a table, power washer and scrubber the Heroes used to clean sidewalks, patio area and storage building and tools.

RISD Learning Center honored

Rockdale ISD trustees on Monday, meeting in regular session in the Central Administration Building, congratulated the district’s Tiger Learning Center for receiving formal accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

POLICE REPORT Rockdale Police responded to a fight at the Fair Park carnival last Wednesday night, making one felony arrest and issuing several citations. Lt. Stephen Goodrich said police arrived about 9 p.m., broke up the fight and pieced together what led up to the incident.
