Substitute teacher training is this week A mandatory training for all new RISD substitute teachers will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, at the Rockdale ISD Conference Room (520 W. Davilla). Training will include processes for the automated substitute service system Rockdale ISD has implemented.

CONSTITUTION WEEK

Police make four felony arrests

POLICE REPORT Rockdale police made four felony arrests last week including one murder charge. (See store, page 1A.) Police arrested Tyrone Radale Shepard, 42, of Hearne, 1:10 a.m. on Tuesday, on two felonies of controlled substance after an unauthorized use of motor vehicle stop.
