Classic Bank promotes two

Brittany Barchenger has been named assistant vice president/branch manager and Melissa Barcuch banking officer at Classic Bank. Barchenger has been employed at Classic since 2013, first as a teller, then customer representative. She has two daughters, Ambrye and Myah.

Parents club party set for May 19th at Rockdale CC

MILANO NEWS The Milano Parents Club’s “bottle décor party” has been moved to May 19 at the Rockdale Country Club. Time is 6 to 8 p.m. and cost is $30 per person, you must reserve your spot.

The food at the youth and preteen camp fish fry Sunday at the Baptist Church was delicious and there was plenty of it. Thanks to all of you who had any part of making it a success. The annual Cemetery Association’s fundraiser and Mother’s Day program is Sunday.

To submit Church News Service for grads at Baptist church Baccalaureate services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 19 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Rockdale for the Class of 2019. Baccalaureate is an old Latin word for a sermon and worship service designed specifically for graduates.

RCS food pantry Rockdale Christian Services operates a food pantry at 224 West Cameron Avenue, open 10 a.m. until noon weekdays. Donations of non-perishable food items are welcome, especially one-pound bags of rice, pinto beans, macaroni and cheese, canned soups and peanut butter.
