Heavenly Treasures Rockdale Christian Services “Heavenly Treasures” thrift store, 233 North Main, serves the needy with gently used clothing and household items at prices from 25 cents to $5. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. A “$3 Bag Day” is held first Friday of each month.

ORGANIZATIONS

Young musicians set annual spring concert Piano students of Dixie Whitmore will present their annual spring music program at 7 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, 240 Green St. Whitmore said many different styles of music will be performed.

Scholarship golf tourney set for Saturday at RCC

MILANO NEWS The annual Milano ISD scholarship golf tournament will be held Saturday at the Rockdale Country Club. Cost is $75 per player and is a four-person scramble event. The tournament will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.

Thanks to everyone for coming to the Gause annual Mother’s Day program and lunch this past Sunday. There was a good turnout and it’s always good to see those we haven’t seen in a year or longer. We missed you who couldn’t come this year and hope next year you can make it.
