County to receive $45 million in grants

Last week Milam County received more great news regarding our quest for grant funding. The Texas General Land Office advised us that the county will receive $5.8 million in infrastructure funding. The funding is generally referred to as “mitigation” and the uses include transportation.

100 YEARS AGO... Pearl Richards, 18, daughter of T.L. Richards, was run over by an automobile three miles west of Rockdale on the Thorndale road. The young lady was doing nicely and it was thought her injuries were not serious.

Losing my voice was the best diet ever
