Like many rural counties, we are starved in Milam County for high-speed internet. In some parts of the county, such as Rockdale and Cameron, Zochnet has provided fiber, which allows for the fastest connection.
However, in many parts of the county, we have slow speeds or no internet.
This year’s Holiday Gift Idea Exchange will have a different look to our event.

Second grade is an exciting time to be a Rockdale Tiger. They set examples for the younger students.

American Legion Carlyle Post 358 and the gun range are reopening. Members have resumed regular meetings with masks and social distancing.
