254 counties: Wonder if I’ll ever get there

EDITOR’S CORNER One of the candidates in the recent election—did you know we had an election?—made it a point to mention he had visited all 254 Texas counties in the course of one campaign. I used to want to do that. No, not run for office, visit every county in our fantastic state.

EDITORIAL The Rockdale ISD’s wonderful observance of Veterans Day is set for 10 a.m. Thursday in the high school gym. Sunday is the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. Those two anniversaries are closely related.
