—The Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District recently donated $6,975 to the Milam County Fire Chiefs Association for the purchase of nine, refillable, PRO-paks, which use foam to reduce the use of water, making the equivalent of 15,000 gallons of water from only 250.

Sunflower/Jones 5K to be held Saturday

MILANO NEWS The first Sunflower/Melodie Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund 5K run/walk and kids one-mile fun run/walk is set for Saturday at Davidson Creek Park in Caldwell. The event is in honor of Melodie Jones who died in a car accident in 2017.
