ALL THE BUZZ—Fifty-five persons recently attended the Milam County Master Naturalist Bee Program at The Community room downtown. Presentations were given by Mary Reed of Texas A&M and beekeepers Johnny Morton, Art Thomas Sr., and Gene Rek from Bird and Bee Farm.

WONDER WOMEN—Costumes were encouraged for Saturday’s Kay Theatre runs and there were plenty of them, including a full contingent of Wonder Women. Two steps into the run/ walk some of the superheroines multi-tasked, posing for a selfie without breaking stride.

CARNIVAL TIME—The annual Rockdale ISD P-TO Fall Carnival was held in tandem with Saturday’s first annual Rockdale Fall Festival. The carnival was held across the alley from Wolf Park in the Main Street parking lot and featured a variety of games and activities for youngsters.
