A Family and Friends Day Program at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church will be held at 3 p.m. April 24. The 1895 receives $3,800 from Walmart

Walmart Store No. 280 has been an integral part of the community of Rockdale for many years. In addition to being a major employer in the area, Walmart Store No. 280 is also a primary contributor of sales tax revenue supporting the City of Rockdale’s municipal budget.

ORGANIZATIONS

Historical meeting on Monday at courthouse The Milam County Historical Commission will conduct its first meeting of 2022 on Monday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. at the Courthouse in Cameron. The purpose of this commission is to preserve, protect and promote history within the county.
