Holy Week sunrise services, luncheons

Holy Week luncheons, sponsored by Rockdale Ministerial Alliance, will be held Monday through Wednesday, March 25-26-27, at Peace Lutheran Church, 303 Meadow Dr. Each luncheon will include food, fellowship, music and a short devotional from noon until 1 p.m. Host churches are St.

Home garden tour planned for May 11

Rockdale Earth Day will hold 2024 Home Garden Tour, an exploration of some of Rockdale’s finest home gardens on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

QUICK LOOK

The spring “Meet the Tigers” will be held on Saturday at the Rockdale Tiger baseball field and will include several events. A Facebook auction begins at 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday’s events include an alumni game at 10 a.m. with registration beginning at 9:15 a.m. A fish fry dinner begins at 11 a.m.

ORGANIZATIONS

Rockdale Rotary Club meets the first, third and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch is provided. Rockdale Noon Lions Club also meets at RVFD on the first and third Wednesday of each month with lunch provided.
