Groundwater summit ahead in Caldwell

The Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District will host its 12th Annual Groundwater Summit from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6 at the Caldwell Civic Center. This year’s summit is designed to be more open and easy for the public to be involved.

RPD makes arrest for terroristic threat

Rockdale Police Department officers made an arrest for terroristic threat with fear of “imminent severe bodily injury” over the past week. Jordan Christie Bell, 41, of Rockdale, was taken into custody and transported to the Milam County Jail on Thursday, June 4.
