Cow-calf clinic set for April 15 The 40th annual Central Texas Cow Calf Clinic will be held April 15 in the Milam County Youth Exposition Building 301 S. Houston St., in Cameron. There will be programs throughout the day with registration running from 7:30 to 8 a.m. on the day of the clinic.

A late-afternoon wreck Saturday on US 79 near downtown caused a detour while officers cleared the scene of the accident that sent one woman, complaining of neck pain, to a hospital. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene before the traffic flow could return to normal.
