Farmers’ Market is set to start Saturday The Rockdale Chamber of Commerce is bring back its farmers’ market on the grounds of the of the historic Coffield Stone Tree House at 1203 W. Cameron. The first market is set to be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Rockdale High prom to be at Apache Pass

Rockdale High School principal Brent Hasselbach announced plans for the high school prom and an in-person graduation. The annual Junior-Senior Prom will be held outdoors at Apache Pass Event Center in Rockdale on April 17. Small groups are encouraged for all pre-prom activities.

ACCIDENT—There was a three-car accident Monday on west US 79 that caused traffic to slow down around 6 p.m. This maroon Honda, one of the vehicles in the wreck, received both front and back end damage. The other two vehicles, both pickups, had front end damage, according to reports.

Accidents keep officers busy in past week

Police officers made three felony arrests, two of them drug related and the other was on a Milam County warrant for a probation violation over the past week. Officers also had to attend to six wrecks over the past week.
