County eyes grant

CAMERON—Milam County Commissioners closed out their “big swap” in a regular session Monday morning and now they have several tense weeks of waiting to see if the county will get a key grant.

Downtown Rockdale ‘facelift’ ahead

Suicide suspected in weekend death

Sheriff Chris White said his department is investing the death of a Milano-area man Saturday as a suicide. White said the body of 53-year-old Kevin Reese was discovered between 7 and 8 p.m. on County Road 330. White said an autopsy has been ordered.
