TEMPLE—Linda Harris, 79, of Temple left this life peacefully on July 2, 2026.
No services are planned.
Linda was born on Feb. 7, 1947, in Dallas to Loyd and Lucille Coburn, and was a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas.
Linda is survived by her husband of 38 years, Billy Joe Harris; daughters Teresa Ansell of Waxahachie and Melissa Bryant of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Jessica Ansell, Kelsey Gourd (Andrew) and Hayden Ansell; and great-grandchildren Rosemary Gourd, Olivia Gourd and Violet Ansell.
Linda had been a resident of Temple for the last 18 years. She loved cooking, cross-stitch, and hunting for treasures at yard sales and thrift stores.
Linda took pride in her home and her family and cherished her friendships at Northside Church of Christ.
While we are saddened by her passing, we are comforted in the knowledge that as a faithful servant of Jesus, Linda is now rejoicing with the Lord in Heaven.
