CAMERON—It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances P. Yount. Frances died Sunday, June 28, 2026, in a Temple hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at Minerva Cemetery in Minerva.
Frances was born Aug. 27, 1959, in Hanover to Elisha and Rosie Mowdy.
She lived a life marked with kindness, dedication and love for family, friends and all fur babies. She was known for loving all kinds of animals (except snakes) and putting together touch puzzles.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jack W. Yount; stepdaughters Audra Leal and Stephanie Yount; plus a few grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elisha C. Mowdy; mother, Rosie L. Mowdy; and brother Edward.
Frances will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In loving memory always!
