CAMERON—Leo Charles Moraw, 77, of Cameron died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, in a Temple hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 27, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron with Rev. Dimitrij Colankin officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery. Rosary was recited Friday, Jan. 26, at Marek-Burns- Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Mr. Moraw, retired owner/ operator of Milam Sheet Metal, was born July 2, 1940, in Cameron to Leo A. and Mary Lou (Hatterman) Moraw. He was a 1958 graduate of C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron. He married Patricia Jo (Pat) Wilkinson on Jan. 16, 1960. Mr. Moraw was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Kasey Jo Moraw and Cory Ray Moraw. Survivors are his wife, Pat Moraw of Cameron; a son, Charles Ray Moraw and wife Darla of Cameron; two daughters, Carla Ann Moraw of Cameron, Charmaine Moraw Burnett and husband James of Temple; two sisters, Ethelyne Stewart of San Marcos, Lanell Archer and husband Charles of Longview; a brother, Wayne Moraw of Cameron; three grandchildren, Shannon Taylor Bailey and husband Stephen, Lyndsey Burnett Dominguez and husband Michael, and J.W. Johnson; and three great-grandchildren, Eva Love Bailey, Dimitri Moraw Bailey and Jacob Stephon Bailey. Memorials may be made to the Kasey Jo & Cory Ray Moraw Endowment Fund, Cameron ISD Scholarship Foundation.
