Memorial services for James Colin Young will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at Phillips & Lucke y F u ne r al Home in Rockdale.
James was born Oct. 27, 1984, to Robbie Lynn and Robert Paul “Bob” Young.
He was a loving husband, father, a paw-paw, treasured son, brother, proud uncle, and the dearest of friend.
James passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the age of 37. He was surrounded by his father, wife, daughter, and close family members.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Robbie Young; his grandparents, Dr. Philip Montgomery and Billie Jean Young, George Truitt “Nat” and Dera Pierce Bankston, and Edith Jewel Bounds.
He is survived by his father Bob; his wife, Lacy; his children, Brighton, Brianna and Anthony; two brothers, Philip and Seth; a sister, Ashlie; a niece Tatum Rain Young; and a nephew, James Knox Young.
