Max Naranjo, 85, of Thorndale passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023. Max Naranjo was born Dec. 24, 1937, in Donna to Luis and Feliciana Naranjo. A lifelong farmer, he spent his days growing the food that fed his local community.

Dudley Earl Blattner, 71, of Rockdale, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, in his home in Rockdale. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at Milam County Cowboy Church. A visitation will be held at the church starting at 10:30 a.m. until service time.

James Clayton Woolverton, 78 of Rockdale passed away on Nov. 30, 2023, in a Cameron nursing home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor David Hankins officiating. Interment was at Sand Grove Cemetery in Milano.
