Gary Follis, 50, of Milano, passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at his home near Milano. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Gary was born Oct. 18, 1971, in Austin to William “Bill” and Gloria (Mills) Follis. He was a graduate of Travis High School in Austin.

Graveside service for Gaylen Leon Phillips, 72, of Rockdale were held Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with military honors. Mr. Phillips died Monday, Oct. 25, at his home in Rockdale.

Maye Marie Schlottman, 86, of Rockdale died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Methvin of Apostolic Faith Church officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F.

Carla Michelle Closs (Miller), 49, of San Antonio, died unexpectedly on Oct. 19, 2021. She was born to Carl and Carol Miller (Chambers) on July 11, 1972, in Houston. She grew up in Calvert and Hearne and was the middle sibling of six children. She had five children that she loved dearly.

Espinosa

On Sept. 15, 2021, Robert Espinosa, beloved father of Staci Parker, big brother of three brothers and six sisters, passed away at the age 77. Robert was born in Taylor on Sept. 9, 1944, to Antonio (Tony) and Mary Hernandez Espinosa.

Charles Michael “Mike” Jones, 72, of Minerva passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at his home in Minerva. Services for Mike are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 28, with visitation starting at 11 a.m.
