Beason

Shirley Ruth Beason, 73, of Rockdale died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, in the comfort of her home. Her body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Beason was born May 10, 1948, in Temple to Floyd Brockenbush Sr. and Helen Wolfe Brockenbush Wenzel.

GAUSE—Margaret Louise Currin, 85, of Little River/Academy died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, in a Temple hospital. Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at Gause City Cemetery. Ms. Currin was born in Gause on Nov. 24, 1935, to Seth Graydon and Velma D. (Hafley) Gaston.

Drinkard

B.M. Drinkard of Rockdale passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021. He was born in Bermuda (TX) on Aug. 17, 1923, and was 98 years of age. B.M. was proud to serve in the U.S. Army Air Corps and enlisted when he was only 17 years old. B.M.
