GLEN ROSE—Logan Bailey Solomon passed away on Oct. 23, 2020, at her home in Austin. She was born on May 28, 1997, in Kopperl, the youngest daughter of Dean Solomon and Andrea Tovar Solomon (deceased).

Ault

Donald Carl Ault, 72, of Rockdale, died on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020. He was born Feb. 23, 1948, to Ella (Orcutt) and Carl R. Ault in Yankton County, South Dakota. After graduating from Alvin High School in 1965, he went to Wharton Junior College. Mr. Ault enlisted in the U.S.

Holt

Katharine Elizabeth Holt, 55, of Rockdale died Nov. 4, 2020, at her home with her brother at her side. A graveside service was held Saturday, Nov. 7, at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Ms. Holt was born June 12, 1965, to Charles Whitfield Holt II and Sarah Suann Brown Holt in Pasadena.

RHS spikers win Bi-District, lose in Area round

For the first time since 2017, the RHS spikers took the court in the 3A Region 3 and 4 0layoffs. Coming in as a No. 3 seed, the Lady Tigers faced the Fairfield Lady Eagles in the Bi-District round on Thursday. They were victorious in four sets 25-22, 25-20, 21-25 and 25-22.

Memorial services for Walter J. Breaux II of Rockdale will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Lance Walch officiating. Mr. Breaux was born April 18, 1958, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Gladys Mae (Shelander) Cash died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020. A graveside service was held Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Westlawn Cemetery in Del Rio. Mrs. Cash was born Aug. 3, 1926, in Milam County, the second of five children to J.J. and Addie Shelander.

Williams

Bruce Edward Williams of Sugar Land died recent ly at the age of 63. In view of concerns with COVID-19, a family memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Williams was born Feb. 15, 1957, to John and Mildred Williams.

Luckey

James E. “Gene” Luckey, age 95, of Sharp passed away Friday morning, Oct. 23, 2020, at his home in Sharp. Gene was born Sept .19,1925, in Rockdale to Rufus Ervin and Wilma Odell (Dickey) Luckey. He attended mostly country schools in Rockdale and Houston.

McCoy

On Oct. 24, 2020, Helen Joyce (Stolte) McCoy, loving sister and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 80. Services will be held o n F r i d a y, Oct. 30, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home at 10 a.m.
