Alcohol-drug program Oct. 9

The Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service, and the Rockdale ISD, are partnering to host an Alcohol & Drug Trends Awareness program at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the Rockdale Intermediate School cafeteria. The special presentation will follow the Rockdale P-TO meeting scheduled for that evening.

—Knights of Columbus Council 7014 held its annual Fall Fest Sunday at the KC Hall. There were numerous activities centered around a fried chicken sale which drew a steady stream of hungry Fest-goers.
