Appelt reunion set for June 1 in Hallettsville The Appelt Fami ly Reunion will be held Sunday, June 1, at Appelt’s Hill Hall in Hallettsville. Registration begins at 10 a.m. with lunch at 12-noon. Stew, sausage, side dishes and drinks will be provided.

Edward King, a freshman at Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock, has been named Central Texas’ top Scouts BSA popcorn seller for the 2024-25 fundraiser. King sold $24,464 worth of popcorn products over the seven-week fundraiser through a com bination of online, wagon and booth sales.
