RHS Class of 1975 looking for members

The RHS Class of 1975 will hold their 50th reunion on June 7 in conjunction with Rockdale’s Citywide Homecoming which will be the following day at the KC Hall and at which the Class of 1975 will be honored.

Peace Lutheran Church will be celebrating Palm Sunday on April 14 at 10:30 a.m., Maundy Thursday on April 17 at 6:30 p.m., Good Friday on April 18 at 6:30 p.m., Easter brunch on April 20 at 9 a.m., followed by an Easter egg hunt at 9:45 a.m., and service at 10:30 a.m.

Historical society meets at Kay

The Milam County Historical Commission will meet at the Kay Theater on Monday, April 7 at 10 a.m. Speaker will be Dr. Sarah Chesney with the Texas Archeological Society (TAS) will provide information on the upcoming Summer Field School being held in Milam and Robertson Counties June 14-21.

Susan Wallis Cole held a book signing and reading at Main Street Bookshop on Saturday. Her new children’s book is called Ella and Mac Want a Dog, which teaches children about pet ownership. Attendees received $15% off food from 7 Bar Barbecue.

The El Camino Real Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, April 10 at 6 p.m. at All Saints’ Episcopal Church Meeting Room, 200 N. Travis, in Cameron. The public is invited to attend.
