Meadowbrook Baptist Church handed out over 50 backpacks filled with school supplies at a one-day vacation bible school for students from kindergarten to 8th grade.

Holliman-Tuma Family Reunion set for Sept. 3 The 92nd annual Holliman- Tuma Reunion will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 3, at Rockdale VFW, 978 W. Cameron. A fully-catered barbecue meal of beef brisket and sausage with all the trimmings will be served at noon for $17 for adults.
