The Rockdale Fair Association kicks off its 2024 Fair & Rodeo on Saturday, Oct. 12, with one of its first events, the Children’s Pageant. The public is invited to come encourage these youngsters as they take the stage at Rockdale High School Auditorium. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.

Hallelujah Festival to be held Oct. 27th New Jerusalem Church invites everyone to come to the church on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. for a citywide Hallelujah Festival, a sweet treat for the soul.
The church is located at 103 Mulberry St.
Connect Church celebrated it s one-year anniversary Sept. 15. The church launched a new ministr y, Camp Connect, which is a children’s church, and had a worship service that celebrated all that God has done in the last year. After the service, lunch was served.
Matthew tells us a woman came to Jesus with a jar of expensive ointment and poured it on his head as he sat at table. The disciples complained, “Why this waste? This ointment could have been sold for a large sum, and the money given to the poor.”

Hairston-Diver reunion to be held October 12th
The annua l Ha i r ston-Diver Family Reunion will be held Saturday, October 12, at the Milano Community Center in downtown Milano. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a covered dish lunch to start at noon.
We are blown away by the community support for our first Taste of Milam event by CASA of Milam County. This event was a tremendous success, exceeding all expectations.
