At GO Car Wash’s grand opening last Thursday, Site Integration Leader Kalcen Medina and General Manager Kevin Starr, took time out from the festivities to make a generous $2,000 donation to Vision Rockdale for the restoration of The 1895.

New Years is probably one of my favorite holidays or times of the year. The reason I have this bromance with the New Year is well, who doesn’t like “new.” New year, new car, new job, new surfboard, new pair of running shoes. New is always good, right?! How about a new attitude?

Murray Street Church of Christ held their annual lock-in on New Year’s Eve for the youth members of their church. This year they had 20 kids participating. They enjoyed lots of good food, bible lessons, games all night long and sparklers at midnight.

Whether you’re going on a New Year’s diet or not, here are some recipes we can all enjoy. The first one up is from Ina Garten. She uses a lot of horseradish in her cocktail sauce but that can be adjusted to taste. I don’t think it needs hot sauce but suit yourselves.
